About SIBG

The Security Industry Buyer's Guide, published by ASIS International, is the most current, comprehensive database of security products and services in the industry. Comprising more than 3,000 manufacturers and suppliers of security products and services, the SIBG fully categorizes the available resources of the security industry from the most elemental tools to its most advanced technology.

The project was launched in 1986 to provide a single source where corporate security directors and professionals could find suppliers of the diverse tools and services required to safeguard the broadest spectrum of facilities. As security threats have grown and evolved, so has the SIBG. It now serves a diverse audience, encompassing engineers and architects who are now build security into their designs.  Government professionals as well, ranging from local law enforcement to The U.S. Department of Defense, have relied on the SIBG to survey the breadth and depth of professional security resources on the market today.

More than 300,000 people use the SIBG site each year to research and solicit products. The 33,000 members of ASIS International are the core of this audience.
